VUB presented results from GHOST at the PRiME 2020 conference held at the start of October 2020. Due to Covid-19, the event was held exclusively online with on-demand digital presentations. The study presented the fast-charging effect on the lifetime behaviour of the LTO cells. Results show a slow capacity fade for the LTO cells with a degradation of 2% after 4500 cycles at 4C (92A). The internal resistance is less impacted by the cycling because insignificant increase resistance was observed for the same cycling time. This demonstrates the robustness and charging capability with lifetime of the LTO cell selected in the GHOST project.
